At the sentencing hearing on Wednesday for the torture and execution of two white teenage boys by two Black men one of the convicted killers made a ‘Black lives matter’ speech to the judge which he finished by doing the ‘hands up don’t shoot, Black lives matter’ shtick.

Fredrick Young made his speech after listening to impact statements by the victims’ families:

“I’d like to say sorry to the families of Aiyana Jones, Michael Brown, Eric Garner and I want to apologize to them for not being able to get justice for their loved ones who were murdered in cold blood. And in respect for the peaceful protest I want to say hands up, don’t shoot, black lives matter. That’s it your honor.”

Michigan Live described the crime spree by the two men and their sentences. Photos of the victims are posted at MLive as well as photos of their killers yawning and making faces in court.

“Bobbish, 17, and Kudla, 18, were robbed, tortured, stripped, taken to a barren field in Detroit, forced to kneel in just their underwear and shot execution style in the back of their heads in late-July 2012.

“A jury convicted Fredrick K. Young, 26, of Detroit, and Felando D. Hunter, 24, of Jackson in December.

“It’s believed the teens were searching for drugs to purchase in Detroit when they encountered Hunter and Young.

…”Hunter and Young received four life sentences a piece on two counts each of first-degree murder and two counts of felony murder. The judge also sentenced them to between 50 and 75 years for torture; 50 to 75 years for armed robbery and 2 years that will run consecutive to all the charges for the felony firearm use. Young additionally received a 5-year concurrent sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

“The killing of Kudla and Bobbish was the beginning of a two-week crime spree that resulted in two other killings and at least one other carjacking.
