Poll: Americans Call Obama “Good Man” Who Is “Incompetent”

What one word describes President Obama? Well two:
A “good man” who is “incompetent.”
Those are the number one terms used to describe Barack Obama in a survey by Pew Research.obama incompetent good man
Of 746 people surveyed – 22 percent Republicans, 30 percent Democrat and 43 percent independents – when asked to describe President Obama in one word, the top choices were “good” (35 people), “incompetent” (33 people), “intelligent” (21 people) and a “dictator,” “honest” or an “idiot/stupid” (12 people each).
By comparison, George W. Bush, at this point in his term, also had “incompetent,” but was also considered “honest” and “arrogant.”
Is it possible to think the President is a “good man” who is also “incompetent?”
Well, one needs to separate the man from his politics and policies.
There’s little doubt the damage he has done to the country both foreign and domestic. It will take years to repair the damage he’s done, especially in dealing with our enemies and allies around the globe.
So clearly, he’s incompetent. But is he a “good man?”
He loves his kids. Does that make him a good man? It’s one of the signs of a good man.
Let’s go with that.
