Obama Getting “Spiritual Guidance” From Man Who Said All White People Are Going to Hell

The more Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s protege claims he’s changed, the more he stays the same.

President Barack Obama is not expected to go to church during Christmas. The president rarely attends worship services, preferring to read scripture and pray in private, according to Politico.

Those familiar with his Christian faith say he does not go to church regularly partly because he does not want to disrupt the experiences of regular parishioners and that the Obama family prefers to use Sundays to bond and for downtime.

Obama has no problem constantly disrupting people’s “experiences” by attending fundraisers or to get a shot for a donor card using Air Force One. So that excuse is laughable. But his religion is his own business. However…

Instead, Obama turns to several progressive and activist theologians for spiritual succor. These include DuBois, a Pentecostal minister as well as pastors Joel Hunter, Jim Wallis, and 90 year-old Joseph Lowery, founder of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, according to Politico.

The president reads daily devotionals sent via email by this spiritual circle.

What kind of “devotionals” might he be getting from progressive activists like Lowery? The Wright kind.

All white people are going to hell, longtime African-American civil rights advocate Rev. Joseph Lowery told an audience at a get-out-the-vote event held Oct. 27 in Georgia.

Lowery, who gave the benediction at the January 2009 inauguration of President Barack Obama, told the audience of up to 300 African-Americans “that when he was a young militant, he used to say all white folks were going to hell. Then he mellowed and just said most of them were. Now, he said, he is back to where he was,” according to an Oct. 31 report in the Monroe County Reporter newspaper.

“I don’t know what kind of a n—– wouldn’t vote with a black man running,” Lowery also told the audience in the St. James Baptist Church in Forsyth, Ga., according to the Reporter.

If the favorite pastor of a Republican had expressed similar sentiments toward black people, you know that the noise would never have died out. But progs get special treatment and Lowery’s statement was dismissed as a joke. Obama’s continuing patronage of a man who made such a vile statement got swept under the rug just as it did for many of Obama’s racist clergy.
