Police Denying Islamic Identity of NYPD Cop Killer

This is sad, yet entirely predictable. The official media narrative is that Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley was just a lone wolf mentally ill killer. And the police brass appear to be willing to join in the cover-up.
Late this afternoon, the NYPD’s Chief of Detectives, Robert Boyce, knocked down published reports that Brinsley may have had ties to a militant prison gang, but said he’d made anti-government statements on social media.
ROBERT BOYCE: There is one where he burns a flag and made some statements. There’s others with talks of anger for the police. He specifically mentions Michael Brown and Eric Garner…. Right now we have no gang affiliation at all attributed to this man. He has no tattoos to suggest anything of it and he has no religious statements that we found on Instagram at all. None whatsoever.
He did have Islamic statements on Facebook, as shown above, and that screenshot has received wide circulation. So we have to assume that Boyce is either ignorant or deliberately misleading.
His emphasis on “no religious statements that we found on Instagram at all”, has a lawyerly stench to it. He is specifically denying something in a way that might be true, while creating a misleading impression. It’s possible that Abdullah had no religious statements on Instagram, but he certainly had a Jihadist message on Facebook.

Either way it seems we’re still in the dark ages when it comes to the authorities calculatedly covering up Jihadist motives by Muslim terrorists.
