Inside New York cop-killing gang

The gang to which NYPD cop killer Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley may have belonged, the Black Guerilla Family, is allied with U.S. leftist groups and worked as an ideological partner with Bill Ayers’ Weather Underground terrorist organization.
Brinsley is the assassin who executed two officers in Brooklyn on Saturday after posting on social media his intention to avenge the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, both of whom were killed by police officers.
The Baltimore media reported his killing spree actually began in Baltimore County, where Brinsley was said to have murdered his former girlfriend before traveling to New York City to kill NYPD officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos. The New York Post reported the two officers were working overtime to participate in an anti-terrorism drill in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
The New York Daily News reported investigators went to Baltimore to probe Brinsley’s ties to the Black Guerrilla Family, which dominates the Maryland prison where Brinsley spent time. The BGF is an African-American Marxist revolutionary organization that seeks the overthrow of the U.S. government.
Numerous Baltimore media outlets confirmed law-enforcement officials are probing the BGF link.
One anonymous federal law-enforcement official told the Baltimore Sun that Brinsley had no known ties to the BGF. However, this quote was obtained Saturday, before the results of a police probe into Brinsley’s possible links to the gang have been reached.
The BGF link is credible. The Sun reported that on Friday the Baltimore FBI office issued a memo warning the gang was targeting “white cops” in Maryland.
The New York Daily News reported BFG members were passing around threats that they were “preparing to shoot on-duty police officers.”
On December 6, the Daily News reported on a specific BFG plot to kill NYPD officers on Dec. 5, just three days after a grand jury decided not to indict NYPD officer Daniel Pantaleo in Garner’s death.
The newspaper quoted Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins saying at the time that at least 10 BGF members were “preparing to shoot on duty police officers.”
Further, the Daily News posted a picture of a government-intelligence memo stating the BGF began prepping to shoot “an on duty police officer.” The memo said the threat had been verified.
The far-left BGF, originally known as the Black Family and Black Vanguard, was founded in 1966 in California’s San Quentin State Prison by George Jackson, a member of the Black Panthers. It was an ally of Ayers’ Weather Underground terrorist group.
The group was recently in the news for its connection to a high-profile corruption scandal at the Baltimore City Detention Center, where the gang is said to dominate. The BGF is known for its ability to recruit prison staff to aid their illegal activities while the gang also takes political stances.
The BGF also supported the Nation of Islam and its leader, Louis Farrakhan.
