Obama Gets Clowned By Foreign Communist Nations, Again

Posted by: Javier Manjarres on December 20, 2014

Shortly after President Obama gave his final press conference of 2014, where he condemned the North Korean government for hacking and threatening Sony pictures if they released their movie, “The Interview,” Sony pictures put out a statement defending their decision to cancel the Christmas Day release of the movie.

As always, President Obama was late to the game, stating that Sony “made a mistake” in cancelling the movies release, as well as saying that his administration would “respond,” and even went as far as to make fun of the North Korean, by calling their hack against Sony as an “all-out assault” against a “satirical movie.”

Sony studio officials said they had “no choice” but to cancel, because of the terrorist threats against movie theaters, and against Sony employees.

Sony’s statement

“Let us be clear: the only decision that we have made with respect to release of the film was not to release it on Christmas Day in theaters, after the theater owners declined to show it… Without theaters, we could not release it in the theaters on Christmas Day. We had no choice.”

Here is the North Korean hacker threat:

“Warning … We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places ‘The Interview’ be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to,” the message said. “Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made. The world will be full of fear.”

While President Obama and the FBI, and surely the NSA and CIA, knew that North Korea was responsible for the threat, why didn’t they go public once they knew who the responsible party was?

Instead, Obama waited for more time to go by, which led to Sony having to pull the movie.

Once again, President Obama’s weak and failing foreign policy gets clowned by foreign terrorists and enemies of the United States.

But wait, this story gets better.

After the FBI concluded that it had enough proof to accuse North Korea of the hack, North Korea offered their assistance to the U.S., suggesting a joint investigation into the matter.

Here is the rub.

North Korean also said that if the U.S. didn’t comply with their gesture of  “good faith,” that there would be “grave consequences.”

So they offer to “help,” yet threaten us if we don’t take their offer.
