Mafia Boss: “Do You Have Any Idea How Much I Make on the Immigrants?

Immigration is the lifeblood not only of the Democratic Party, but also of the mafia. That’s one of the latest revelations out of Italy which has been overrun with mobs of Muslim “refugees” who have taken over the place, robbed, looted and settled everywhere they could.
Mr. Carminati and his ring, prosecutors charge, profited even from the national immigration emergency that has swelled Italy’s shores with refugees fleeing war and poverty, by muscling in on immigrant and refugee reception centers.
“Do you have any idea how much I make on the immigrants?” one purported associate, Salvatore Buzzi, is heard saying in another of the prosecutors’ recordings. “Drug trafficking is not as profitable.”
Mr. Buzzi is head of a social cooperative that managed services at the temporary reception centers and Roma camps, a business he claimed was worth 40 million euros, or about $50 million, to the criminal organization.
We have the same industry here except the money is going into the pockets of assorted liberal religious groups and secular non-profits.
“We closed this year with turnover of [$50 million], but … our profits all came from the gypsies, the housing emergency and the immigrants,” Buzzi reportedly said in a phone call.
Traditionally, the mafia has made money by trafficking in drugs or demanding ‘protection money’ from restaurant or hotel owners. But last month, AFP reported that the mafia in Sicily may be increasingly benefiting from the arrival of refugees. As hotels were turned into immigrant centers, state subsidies “caught the Mafia’s eye.”
Mario Michele Giarrusso, a Sicilian senator from the Five Star Movement political party, was quoted as saying: “The interest is to open as many as possible and keep the migrants there. The longer they keep them, the more money they bring in. … It’s a business all right. These migrants die in the Strait of Sicily just to bring millions of euros to the mafia.”
In Rome, police had to intervene in November when local residents attacked a center for young immigrants. Despite opposition, more centers are planned in Rome and surrounding areas in the near future.
No wonder. The mafia, ours and theirs, is still hard at work. This is why migrants have to be immediately expelled.
