We now know that despite all of their BS rhetoric there are only 22 constitutional conservative in the U.S. Senate!

He has perfectly shined the light of day on the situation and it's up to us to fix it!

Those are the FACTS ladies and gentlemen.

BTW: There are 18 so called republicans on that list of nays who voted with the democrats. RHINO season is now officially open as far as I'm concerned!

You seem to like RINO's about as much as I do.  I was quite surprised by Rubio's and Portman's vote. You mentioned it's up to us to fix it?  Any ideas???  Chances are Boehner will remain and McConnell isn't much better.

If it weren't for Cruz and TEA you wouldn't have seen the tidal wave that just hit in November...it's just the beginning.    :patriot:

Baloney. Not a single Tea Party nominee for Senate won, with the exception of Ben Sasse, who was backed by everyone. The Tea Party had almost nothing to do with the November landslide.

And, with the new people coming on board and GOP control of Congress, the Tea Party is further weakened.

It is time for the Tea Party to turn their fire on Democrats. Republicans are going to return to regular order in Congress and some GOP priorities will finally get addressed (i.e., tax reform).
Roy Moore's "spiritual warfare" is driving past a junior high without stopping.

How many Tea Partiers won in Nov? How many candidates who won were supported by Cruz?

How many DEMS lost??  Obama policy lost.  Very few conservatives have stood up to Obama policy AND the GOP establishment.  The GOP not only has the majority in both the House and Senate because of their actions but come January there will be 30 states that have GOP governors ... that's where the true power lies.

All politics is local! One RINO at a time.

BTW: Apparently unnoticed by many here, the incoming class of senators contains several Cruz like folks!

There's no question that the dims lost. But you gave the credit to the Tea Party and Ted Cruz. That is a hard claim to defend, because the wins were almost all to the establishment GOPers - both National and state offices. There were a few winners who were supported by both the Tea Party and the establishment GOPers, but this was a big win for the establishment.

I do agree with you that the fact that the GOP has power in so many states is a good sign. That's a fantastic "farm team".

I like our new Senators too.  Capito, Sullivan, Rounds, and Tillis look really promising.  People are going to be suprised what great team players Cotton and Sasse will be also.  In fact the only Senator I'm concerned about is GA Sen David Perdue.

[[ Uhm, the GOP really isn't a full-fledged opposition party, and will definitely not be so after Jan. 20th. ]]

And that may be why -- unless they BECOME one -- they're in very real danger of losing badly in 2016 as a result.

The clock is ticking, gentlemen...

"...Cruz is actually DAMAGING the GOP, and these senior Senators won't forget. ..."

Cruz must be secretly rooting for Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren.

I'm a lone voice in the wilderness but I keep on trying.

I fight for the Constitution and the swamp rats try to push me back.
