Muslim Ferguson Protest Organizer Wants White People to “Stand Behind Black Folk”

Is there any chance that Bilan Arte will be standing behind African-Americans instead of appropriating their history while calling attention to herself with her racist tantrum?
A suggestion that white and non-black protesters limit their visibility and “stand behind black folks” at protests Tuesday in Ottawa and Toronto against the fatal shooting of a black teen in Ferguson, Mo., has sparked a heated debate on social media.
Bilan Arte, one of the Ottawa event organizers, says on the vigil’s Facebook page that “white/non black allies” should “refrain from taking up space” and “never be the centre of anything.”
Bilan Arte however seems rather eager to be the center of things.
Arte’s post prompted more than 100 comments, with one man asking “is this an anti-racist rally or a pro-segregation one?”
Arte, deputy chairwoman with the Canadian Federation of Students, said on her own Facebook page that she received upwards of 50 messages from “righteous upset white people” taking issue with the post.
As opposed to a righteous descendant of Muslim slave traders who trafficked in black slaves now pretending to care about black people?
Her post triggered a fierce debate on Facebook. One white supporter said it had “changed a lot for me. I will no longer be attending this event or supporting this cause.”
Way to make friends and influence people. But Bilan Arte doesn’t just hate white people. She also hates Jews, was a member of Students against Israeli Apartheid and promoted anti-Semitic events such as Israeli Apartheid Week.
