[[ The White House had insisted that Obama would defiantly enact his executive amnesty regardless of Tuesday night's election results. ]]
What's needed is for a newbie Republican representative (Mia Love comes to mind) to state that he/she will introduce an Article of Impeachment on the House floor if Obama insists on issuing such an edict.
Or perhaps someone already sitting to state that he/she is preparing such Articles RIGHT NOW, which will be introduced the day after the edict emanates from the White House.
Political theater?
Of course it is.
But perhaps only the threat of impeachment will stay Obama on this matter.
Aside:
It doesn't matter if the Articles would be voted on by the full house, nor if the Senate would convict.
What "matters" is the threat.
Make the threat plausible, and Hussein may back down...
