Even indicted Republican Michael Grimm won reelection tonight.
He is leading his Democratic opponent by 19 points!

In January, Grimm was caught on tape threatening to toss a reporter off the balcony of the US Capitol Building.
Grimm has pleaded not guilty to hiding more than $1 million in sales and wages while running a small Manhattan restaurant.
The Washington Times reported:
GOP Rep. Michael Grimm, who was indicted on tax and wire fraud charges in April and in January famously threatened to throw a reporter off a balcony after President Obama’s State of the Union address, is leading his Democratic opponent by 19 points in a new poll.
Mr. Grimm leads Democratic challenger Domenic Recchia, 53 percent to 34 percent, in a new Sienna College poll on the race in New York’s Staten Island-based 11th congressional district — up from a 4-point, 44 percent to 40 percent lead from a Siena poll about two months ago.
In April 2014, prosecutors unsealed a 20-count indictment charging that Grimm and others concealed over a million dollars of the restaurant’s sales and wages from both the U.S. federal government and the State of New York
