Sometimes, the latest viral video is a dog wearing a hat, or a baby who looks like she's breakdancing. Today, however, one of the viral videos making the rounds isn't funny at all – it's just a beautiful rendition of a song you've heard dozens of times before.
Chris Botti, a Grammy-winning jazz trumpeter, played the "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the Nov. 3 Colts-Giants game. His understated delivery of the national anthem aired on Monday Night Football, and the day after people are taking notice of his moving performance.
They're also talking about Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne, who was so moved by Botti's performance that he shed a few tears. (Check the 1:30 mark to see Wayne's reaction.)
Fox News football reporter Mike Garafolo discussed Wayne's emotional display on Twitter. (NOTE: Garafolo's initial Tweet is a lot more touching than its follow-up.)
