Brussels (AFP) - The European Parliament group led by Nigel Farage, the head of Britain's eurosceptic UK Independence Party, has collapsed after a Latvian member withdrew, a parliamentary spokesman said.

The Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy (EFD) group "no longer has members from at least seven countries, so declared dissolved today", parliament spokesman Jaume Duch said.
