Hillary Clinton is Big Supporter of “Open Internet”, That’s Why She Locked Up a Man Over a YouTube Video

Hillary Clinton is all things to all people. If you’re for something she will be for it, for now, until she’s against it. Like the internet.

The ubiquitous 2016 candidate appears anywhere people will pay for her private jet to fly and will talk about anything. Like Salesforce, where she is now declared to be one of the biggest supporters of a free internet. Maybe she even invented it.

Hillary Clinton is one of the biggest supporters of an “Open Internet,” the principle that people should be able to make their own choices on internet services and expression.

In fact, she is one of the original cosponsors of the Internet Freedom Preservation Act, the law that protects net neutrality and the right to keep an open internet.

On Tuesday, Clinton reiterated her strong support for internet freedom during her speech at Dreamforce 2014, Salesforce’s annual conference in San Francisco.

“We’re in a struggle with more oppressive regimes around the world who want more control over the internet, who want to be able to shut it down at will, want to be able to interfere with people’s freedoms,” she said.

Cool story. Except the oppressive Clinton regime supported the Communications Decency Act to censor the internet. Hillary Clinton’s support for the CDA was listed as one of the reasons to oppose her back when lefties were debating candidates.

Hillary Clinton gave herself an internet freedom makeover, but like the rest of her makeup it’s really patchy and works if you don’t pay much attention.

Here’s a technoparanoid Hillary Clinton in 2006 warning about the dangers of iPods and predicting that corporations would try to implant microchips in your kids to sell them stuff.

Clinton warned that we’re verging on a society out of a grim science fiction novel.

“At the rate that technology is advancing, people will be implanting chips in our children to advertise directly into their brains and tell them what kind of products to buy,” Clinton said at the Kaiser Family Foundation.

If a Republican had said something like that, hay would still be getting made out of it today. But Democrats have the privilege of having the crazy things they say forgotten.

Hillary Clinton is no doubt a friend of internet freedom. That’s why she had a man who uploaded a YouTube video locked up.

The father of Tyrone Woods, the ex-Navy SEAL killed in Benghazi, met with Obama and Clinton. And he reports that Clinton told him that they were going to “arrest and prosecute” the man behind the Mohammed movie.

“Well, this is what Hillary did. She came over and, you know, she did the same thing, separately came over and talked with me.  I gave her a hug, shook her hand, and she did not appear to be one bit sincere at all.  She mentioned that thing about, “We’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video.” That was the first time I had even heard about anything like that.”

Free internet? We need someone to free the internet from Hillary.
