Edge of Tomorrow [Live, Die: Repeat]

I broke down and rented this ON DEMAND...and despite the 'purchase' price totaling $21. ($5. to rent and $16 to buy within 8 days), I had to pull the trigger and do it.

It's a movie you'll want to watch more than once, IMO.

Bill Paxton's role is more in the vein of what his character was in 2 Guns....a hard-ass...as compared to his previous personas such as in Twister, etc..  He's very good.

It's a story of one Major in the US military who is drafted against his will to be part of a contingent to storm a beach against MIMICS, and alien life form that is culling humankind.  Key words...AGAINST HIS WILL.

This movie is like Groundhog Day, in that each time his is KIA...he immediately begins the day over and over again.

It's like a video game player who has to remember where all the dangers lie in order to "Save the Princess" so to speak...to save humanity.

Didn't seem interesting until I kept seeing the 92% favorables....even on Rotten Tomatoes review boards.

It's quite compelling and is better the 2nd time you watch it....the reason I bought it after renting it.

You won't be disappointed.   :patriot:

Well, he gets to role-play the scientology fiction that L. Ron Hubbard wrote and clear 'engrams' at the same time...
