I was sitting and smoking a cigerette. I was sitting and minding my own business. A kid 14 maybe came up to me. He wanted my cigarette and my money. I slapped him down in the street, and kicked his ass while I was at it.
 
He went into the store I was next to. His uncle, I guess, cama out with a knife, and stabbed the kid and killed him. He laid there bleeding out. I understood there was some alligations of infidelity between the kid and his anut. To this day, I do not know what it was. All I could hear from every direction was, Allah hu Akabar! Allah hu Aabar! and AK-47 rounds and so...on
 
I was screaming Allah hu Ackbar, (thininking I have to get the hell out of here). So I drifted up North, until I got to the border. I laid on my belly and crawled. I began speaking Hebrew. The Israeles let me through because of my number. And that was the end of that.

The story requires a major edits, IMO.

1) It wouldn't have been the kid that was killed by the uncle.  It would have been the uncle's wife...in a mercy killing.

Furthermore....now that I think about it.  How would you know it was the man and kid were related at all.

2)  If you crawled "north", it means you were in Egypt.  Or Jordan.  Two very 'moderate' Islamic countries and somewhat peaceful with Israel.


Still....it's fun to use your head so early in the morning.

[No crawling. 'Drifting.' You only hit the deck on the border. Makes it harder for people on both sides to shoot you. You want to be as least threatening as possible.]

But in the end you are right. It is just a meaningless story. Something I happen to be thinking about. No more than that.
