Quote
NASCAR champion Tony Stewart will reportedly not face charges in the death of fellow driver driver Kevin Ward Jr.

Ward was hit and killed in a horrifying crash that was caught on film last month,  but a grand jury decided today that they will not bring up charges against Stewart,TMZ reports.

At an afternoon press conference announcing the decision, Ontario County District Attorney Michael Tantillo made the startling revelation that Ward was under the influence of marijuana the night he was hit and that there was enough of the drug in his system 'to impair judgement'.

Ward was fatally struck by Stewart while getting out of his car to confront the racing veteran, after the two collided on a prior lap at a race on August 9.

Just Wow !!  "How much" impairs judgment?

From what I have read, Stewart may not be a cherub, but he did NOT intentionally hit the guy.

How does the amount in Kevin Ward Jr. compare to the amounts in Trayvon Martin, and Michael Brown ??

These facts and statistics should be made public, just as alcohol impairment figures are.

Perhaps not everyone mellows out under the influence of mj, then? Ward was agitated and aggressive.
I agree, T_S, it would be interesting to know the levels of this and any other drugs in the systems of Trayvon and the "gentle giant of Ferguson."
