http://ulstermanbooks.com/republicans-poised-take-senate-just-3-months-stirring-fear-obama-white-house/Just a few months earlier, the prospect of Republicans wresting control of the Senate from the clutches of Harry Reid and his fellow Democrats seemed possible, yet remained difficult. That has changed. If voter sentiment continues to build against the Democratic Party brand, Republicans WILL take the Senate, and the Obama administration will for the first time, face a Congress with the power to halt its far left/progressive agenda.
Here are the few races now tipping the scale in favor of a Republican Senate takeover:
ALASKA -Senator Mark Begich (D) is increasingly vulnerable, and general polling indicates Alaskans are very tired of the Obama regime.
ARKANSAS – Tom Cotton (R) continues to poll well against Senator Mark Pryor (D). Momentum is in the Republicans favor heading into the final stretch.
LOUISIANA – Polling indicates voters will pick whomever the Republican is over incumbent senator Mary Landrieu (D) whose pro-Obama stance for a number of years has turned over the majority of this state’s voters.
MONTANA – (Home of the Irish Cowboy!) Incumbent senator John Walsh is now floundering against Republican opponent Steve Daines. Daines may end up winning this one by double digits.
WEST VIRGINIA – Similar to the sentiment in Alaska and Louisiana, West Virginians appear to have had enough of ALL Democrats at the moment, giving Republican candidate Shelly Moore Capito a double digit lead in the most recent polling.
SOUTH DAKOTA – This race was favoring Republicans months ago, and nothing has changed – Democrats are losing the seat.
This list does not even include a handful of other states (North Carolina, Colorado, Michigan, Iowa, etc) very much in play as well. Since moving into the White House in 2009, the Obama administration has never faced a unified Congress. Barack Obama has never been forced to consider legislation passed by Republicans. Harry Reid has always buried what is now hundreds of bills that passed the House, but never came to a vote in the senate. This also includes investigations of the long and still growing list of Obama White House scandals. While the House has attempted investigations, Harry Reid has insulated the White House from full congressional inquiry.
In 2015, this is all going to change…
