Gentlemen:
We are Costco members for over 25 years but will not be renewing our membership upon its expiration. We have joined Sam’s Club.
We are heartbroken and severely disappointed by the fact that you made a “business” decision to take Dinesh D’Souza’s book “America . . .” off the shelves just a few days before the release of his movie by the same name.
We visited our Costco two Saturdays ago to complain to the manager, John, about this. We could have stomached it if John had at least been apologetic but rather he chose to defend your idiotic decision with accompanying stupid excuses – all of which we know to be total lies.
D’Souza’s book as of today is #1 on Amazon and #2 on the NYT best seller list. We read Mr. Zelinek’s response to the media but since you have all been shown to be liars, it is useless to try to wiggle out of this mess. We just wish you didn’t think we were so dumb.
This is very sad for us. We used to make a day of it, shopping at Costco with our friends, family and neighbors. All of that has been ruined – while you and your democrat cronies laugh all the way to the bank. No more! Count us out.
Very Sincerely,
Scott & Saundra Hawkins
