Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Daughter Convicted of Stealing From a State Grant

Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s chickens are coming home to roost.
Reuters reported this story. Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s daughter Jeri Wright was convicted on all counts of laundering thousands of dollars from a state grant slated for a Chicago job training program.

She stole from the taxpayers and from the poor people who need the job training. Then she lied about it.
I guess she didn’t learn anything from her father’s great preaching on that “God Damn America” and “Jewish lawyers”. Who would have thought that his comparing Jews of Jesus’ time to “Klansmen” and describing Jesus as a racial provocateur wouldn’t mold a young girl into an upright woman?
We know that Jeremiah’s preaching for twenty years helped mold that marvelous president, Barack Obama.
What is really ironic is the $1.25 million state grant she skimmed was for Barack Obama’s new program “We Are Our Brother’s Keeper.” She and her husband took thousands for themselves.
They pleaded guilty to the fraud scheme.
The grant agreement was supposed to provide bricklaying and electrical pre-apprenticeship training and GED preparation at the Regal Theater, another entity owned by the couple. Little, if any, of the training provided in the grant agreement was ever completed, according to prosecutors.
She lied to law enforcement and gave false testimony to the grand jury.
She is facing 20 years for the money laundering and five years for the other counts.
