I'm a realist.
I know that the IRS is never going to be "abolished". Never.
Anyone who thinks it could be, is a fool.
That said, I'd settle for seeing the IRS brought back under some kind of control and oversight, as right now it's running wild "to the left". A politicized tool of the administration, it's become.
Even a complete overhaul of the tax code will still require a good portion of the IRS to collect the revenues. You might trim it down, but you can't get rid of it.
As I said, I'm a realist, and that's how I see it...
