Winners and loosers............ and red carpet.  I had to change the channel right off the bat when they had to interview Sidney Poitier...... who could barely form an understandable comment.

Not having been to the movies in 8 or 10 years, I am wholly unfamiliar with this year's offerings. But will someone explain to me why people who have nothing to do with the motion picture industry show up at these award shows? Paris Hilton and the omnipresent Taylor Swift are bad enough, but why Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski (dressed as bride and ... something)?

Beats me, M.... I wondered the same thing.

Either Camila Alvies is really tall or Matthew McConneghey is shorter than I thought.
