Five days after terrorists stormed the American consulate in Benghazi on 9-11, Barack Obama sent out UN Ambassador Susan Rice to mislead the American public about the deadly attack. Rice told reporters on five different programs the attack was a “spontaneous protest” sparked by a hateful video.

Susan Rice said the attack was a “spontaneous protest” organized as a result of an obscure YouTube video.

Anyone with the least bit of common sense understood this was not true. Islamists don’t carry RPG’s to YouTube protests.

Today the Senate Intelligence Committee released a stinging report on the Benghazi consulate attack.  The report confirms there were no protests outside the consulate on the night of the attack.

The US captured the attacks on video – there were no protests:
Other reporting indicated there were no protests. For example the lC obtained closed circuit television video from the Mission facility and there were credible eyewitness statements of U.S. personnel on the ground that night, which the FBI began to collect from interviewing survivors starting on September 15, 2012, in Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

The IC also had information that there were no protests outside the Temporary Mission Facility prior to the attacks.

The Obama administration knew this and lied to the American public to save face two months before the presidential election.  Isn’t it about time this administration is held accountable for its lies?
