California forces Insurer to offer plans invalid under Obamacare
Posted by Joe Guest on November 12th, 2013

Folks, this Obamacare mess is literally getting out of hand. As you know, Obamacare forces millions of plans to be canceled at the start of 2014 because they don’t meet certain standards. Right? But get this from CBS:

Health insurer Anthem Blue Cross of California has agreed to a two-month extension of about 104,000 individual policies after failing to give the required 90-day cancellation notice, state Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones announced Tuesday.

The policies had been set to expire on Dec. 31 but will be extended until Feb. 28 for those who choose to re-enroll. Notices informing customers of the extension will be sent out this week, Anthem said.

Basically, 104K policies that were suppose to be dumped at the start of 2014 due to Obamcare, will be extended for two months to comply with California’s laws, which violate Federal Obamacare laws.
