Who could blame Ray Kelly for abandoning his post.

For the last 20 years lobbyists have been noticeably absent from the steps of City Hall. But, no more. Tammany Hall is back—political patronage is back in New York City. Nobody is more in bed with lobbyists–especially real estate lobbyists–than de Blasio. He's one of the biggest crony capitalist–if that word can apply to a communist–ever to occupy Gracie mansion.

So, say goodbye to meritocracy (bye-bye, Ray Kelly) and hello to payola. We are so screwed.
