He told you that the way there is to allow the full weight of it to come down on the people....hold the House and WIN the Senate....politically castrate Obama and starve/repeal Obamacare in 2016....destroying Hillary's chances in the process.

He said that giving Obama the bully pulpit daily creating a negative media image of Republicans in the House....the extremists...puts 2014 in jeopardy.

So let me understand:  Let the middle income people bear the weight and virtually disappear from the radar screen due to financial hardship.  Somehow that starves Obama of power and will not yield to single payer; and somehow we give a sh*t what happens to Hillary.

That the people can not fight back through the House and Senate in 2014 because the ignant voters will still vote for rats and the Conservatives can not prevail to take back the Senate and hold the House.

Are those his brilliant deductions?  Therefore, we must continue to hear out these positions because he is so freaking brilliant and we should have him in our collective foxhole.

I say to that "nuts".  The rate we are going, Obama will see to it that the country, as a Constitutional Republic, is CRUSHED LONG BEFORE 2015.

Only 3% were active combatants in the American Revolution.  Hence the symbol
l
And during WWII 10% of the population wound up serving in uniform, in some manner.

It takes military 10 support personnel for one combatant. That would equate to 1% active combatants.

I know there's a point here that I have failed to understand in the context of our discussion of the American Revolution.  Forgive me.  It's getting late/early.

Like I said, you are satisfied to see us morph into a single payer socialist healthcare system and have every aspect of our lives controlled by Michelle O and her buddies.
You've broken my cover. I'm a "sleeper" owing allegiance to Michelle O and her buddies.

I want them to control every aspect of our lives.  You should go into mindreading.

The frustration of not holding enough political power with less than a veto proof majority in one legislative chamber is something we all share.

Our reactions to this range widely, from emotional to rational.

Rational is out of fashion here now. Emotional seems to rule the day here now.

If that continues, I also see Hillary 59%, Cruz 39% all other 2% (or more optimistically Hillary 54% Cruz 44% all other 2%)

I note Seeker of Truth, you have not addressed my rather RATIONAL question re the American Revolution and the percentage of participants therein.  If you would rather ignore a rational question and engage in emotional dialogue with another poster, please have the courtesy to acknowledge.  You may PM if you wish.

So how do we stop it?  How do we stop the implementation of Obamacare when the man it's named after can veto any attempt to stop it?

There's no pixie dust in real life, or a vain hope that people will, all of a sudden, decide to storm the White House and demand the Obamacare be repealed.

How do we stop it?

Have you know balls man or do you sit quietly awaiting placement of the ring in your nose and the order to drop to your knees?  You make me want to vomit if we have fallen to such a condition, that you would leave it to women to take up the battle.
You are unworthy to be call yourself an American.  You cuckold the Constitution and defile the blood that has been spilled in defense of this ideal.  You can't see the whites of their eyes while the boot of tyranny rests upon your neck.
Why?  Well, because I'm a bastard, that's why.

I've laid out my solution.  You don't like it, so you ignore it.

Good night, lady.

I was already in bed when you wrote this.

You're right.  The solution you've "laid out," is to do nothing to stop the worst bill to ever be made into law in this country.

And I don't like it.

Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

I've read the entire thread.  Gimme a break....He brings a helluva lot to the discussion.

Otherwise this would have been just another OORAH thread pumping up Cruz.

And I thought that's NOT what we're here for....

Mostly what he brought to the discussion is "how's that working out for you?" with dismissive comments about anyone who supports what Cruz has done.

The last thing I want is for everyone to agree on everything.  That's boring.

What I want is direct answers to serious questions, and haughty evasion doesn't qualify.

I, for one, am glad that people are fighting for the survival of America.

Sitting by and watching the country collapse is NOT a solution.

Character still matters.  It always matters.
