The Guardian Revealed A Major NSA 'Scoop' Then Deleted It From Their Website
Paul Szoldra

The Guardian released another shocking NSA scoop on Saturday, revealing collusion and mass harvesting of personal communications among the United States and at least six European Union countries — only to delete it from their website hours after publication.

The article, titled "Revealed: secret European deals to hand over private data to America," was written by Jamie Doward, who reported information from Wayne Madsen, a former Navy Lt. and NSA employee for 12 years.

Another scandal? I hope there is evidence or even proof and not just hear-say.

Update: The source may have not been all that reliable.

The story relies on Wayne Madsen, an eccentric government critic and self-described former NSA agent. Madsen claimed that several European governments were “colluding with the U.S. over the mass harvesting of personal communications data.” Among other controversial assertions, Madsen has previously alleged that the September 2000 attack on the USS Cole was a “false flag operation” and that Norwegian terrorist Anders Brevik was trained by Israeli intelligence agents.
