IRS gave liberals a pass; Tea Party groups put on hold

(1/1)

ABX:
Even USA Today gets it.

--- Quote ---WASHINGTON -- In the 27 months that the Internal Revenue Service put a hold on all Tea Party applications for non-profit status, it approved applications from similar liberal groups, a USA TODAY review of IRS data shows.

As applications from conservative groups sat in limbo, groups with obviously liberal names were approved in as little as nine months. With names including words like "Progress" or "Progressive," these groups applied for the same tax status and were engaged in the same kinds of activities as the conservative groups.

Cincinnatus:
Yes, all that may be true, but since they had words like "Progress" or "Progressive" in their names, one can be sure they never, ever pray. Thus review of their status didn't require as much investigation and, as a result, they could be approved much more quickly.

Rapunzel:
or... "change.org" I got caught in their net tonight on Facebook signing a petition to keep VEGAS on the air... it forced you to give you address, etc., and then it went to a petition to sign to force passage of the immigration bill.......... these people are sneaky with a capital S

Oceander:
This sort of dyed-in-the-wool corruption is a very serious problem.
