America now produces more oil than Saudi Arabia!

Quote
In spite of the Obama Administration’s hostility to carbon-rich energy, private actors with private capital deployed on private (and state) land have launched a game-changing revolution in domestic oil and natural gas production.

A scarcely reported milestone conveys the magnitude of this turnaround in the global energy landscape.

The U.S. passed Saudi Arabia as the world’s largest petroleum producer in November 2012, according to recently released data of the federal Energy Information Administration.

Can you imagine the effect on the global economy and balance of power if we had a political class that wasn’t infested with people who seem so dedicated to mitigating American success?

Think of how many social safety net programs could be soundly funded if our economy were unleashed and our debt paid down.

Of equal if not greater importance, if the American petroleum industry were unshackled from their progressive masters, and allowed to fully exploit our nation’s natural and apparently abundant resources, the current funding model for Jihad would quickly be disrupted in a very meaningful way, significantly eroding their ability to project their murderous reach.

It has to make you wonder, why would anyone be so against something that would probably put an end to our current endless war and pending economic disaster?
The time is now near at hand which must probably determine, whether Americans are to be, Freemen, or Slaves. G Washington July 2, 1776
