Play in Oklahoma City
« on: February 27, 2013, 06:36:53 am »
Last week, I got a call from my niece in Texas. She and her daughter wanted me to go to OKC and paint the back drop for the play THE SOUND OF MUSIC at the POTEET THEATRE. I went, and we did three murals for the play in three days. I had to leave because of the snow storm coming in.

We did the first painting during a rehersal and the actors were flabbergasted at how well we did one side in just a couple of hours. Many of them took photos of the first mural. At the end of the run the murals will be painted over and lost forever. 8888crybaby

I had a blast doing it!

Well since you insist, here is the first mural half done behind some set furniture.

Here is the same finished scene behind the rotating stage. There are two more murals on the other walls which I don't have photos of yet.
