VA covers medical for service related injuries and conditions, at NO cost to the veteran, for the rest of their life.

Retirement was 20 years when he enlisted, throughout his enlistment, and is still today. If you exit the military with one month or with 19 years, you have NOT reached eligibility for retirement.

Anybody smart enough to become a SEAL knows this, and is using the media for attention.
