'We don't shower for a month... and we're often naked': Male soldiers warn female comrades of harsh conditions on frontline as Panetta lifts battlefield ban on women

Ex-soldiers tell of how they often have to relieve themselves inches away from one another inside cramped tanks
Other times they are all forced to strip naked and wash with power hoses
Say that it will be awkward having women thrown in the harrowing mix
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta to announce plan today

A number of former soldiers have spoken out against the move because of the tough logistical life of fighters on the front line, even though many outsiders see Defense Secretary Leon Panetta's decision to lift the ban on women serving in combat positions as a progressive move.

Some have spoken out about how the move ignores some of the realities of war, like disgusting unhygienic conditions and the way that soldiers are sometimes forced to change in front of one another, in favor of gender equality.

One wrote a letter in the Wall Street Journal describing the conditions he faced on the front line when he was involved in the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Up to 25 Marines at a time were packed into an amphibious assault vehicles intended to hold only 15, with the Marines sitting ontop of one another for long periods of time.

And how will women "that time of the month" deal with this?  This is utter insanity.

From the article:
Quote
Nancy Duff Campbell, the co-president of the National Women's Law Center, told MailOnline that female soldiers already undergo a specific training course dedicated to discussing gender-specific hygiene issues.

As a result, many use a tool called a Female Urinary Diversion Device (which effectively has a small tube that runs down one's pant leg) would allow women to urinate into a container if they were kept in a tank for a long period of time.

They also cover a number of ways to address their menstrual cycles by either taking daily menstruation suppressant pills.

'This isn't something new; part of this is a response to what has been going on for a long time,' Ms Duff Campbell said.

'I'm not particularly concerned about the hygienic concerns. There might be privacy concerns that you'd like to have but you cant have in a battle environment.'
There are privacy concerns that need not arise at all, simply by not putting women in the "battle environment," moron.

There is only one reason for the promotion of such an "experiment": to damage America's military cohesion and effectiveness. There is no responsible military expert who believes this to be a good idea.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

The United States has long been betrayed by its political elites.

Retired Army Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, the former head of the U.S. Special Forces Command, says infantry and other front-line units are no place for women, and it has nothing to do with their courage or capabilities:

"The people making this decision are doing so as part of another social experiment, and they have never lived nor fought with an infantry or Special Forces unit," Boykin said in a statement released by the conservative Family Research Council, for whom he now works.

"These units have the mission of closing with and destroying the enemy, sometimes in close hand-to-hand combat. They are often in sustained operations for extended periods, during which they have no base of operations nor facilities. Their living conditions are primal in many situations with no privacy for personal hygiene or normal functions."...

"Is the social experiment worth placing this burden on small unit leaders? I think not," he concluded. Boykin is a former deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence who worked with the CIA in the 1990s.

A lot more women will get pregnant, and not from our male soldiers, but the enemy when they are captured. There's too many negatives to allow this. Besides, it's another slippery slope. Next, women will want private johns, and other personal items they consider necessities. Not yet, but it will happen.

Given the strangeness and perversion of modern American leftist society...I think many of the women might think it fun for the men to be naked and a bit grungy.  They would think it all a daring new move pushing the social envelope...which, of course, makes it all important...far more important than silly, useless military effectiveness.

This is such insanity that I can't even think of a comment that isn't obvious to the sane, and will never be recognized by the insane, (liberals).

Every day, every single day, I'm reminded that this country is going right down the plug hole.
