I believe the athletes, their teams, the sport itself, and most sponsors knew doping was widespread for many years.

As long as it was spoken of just a little, and not proved, they could all get along and the doping was not a problem.

But now that it is in the open, doping is the problem.

The bigger problem was the lack of morals by ALL CONCERNED which allowed it to go on, for so long.

I read that sponsor Radobank dropped out.

Lance beat them at their own game.  He was the most tested of any athlete alive, or dead too for that matter and they could not catch him. 

For all those that are astounded and amazed that there are steroids in competition, wake the **** up and smell the coffee.  I know guys that took steroids in high school and that was 40 years ago.  The technology has only gotten better since.
