Brennan for CIA
Posted By Uncle Jimbo • [January 07, 2013]

Well this is hardly a shock, just another sad side effect of reelecting Obama. We get his naive, America last foreign policies and the buffoons he chooses to implement them. In this case John Brennan to run the CIA.

If you would like some background on why putting a guy who doesn't even understand who our enemies are, here are some thoughts.

Coddling terrorists

It is a tough call to pick the least competent member of the Obama team, but CT Chief John Brennan has to be a serious contender. We have the growing list of terrorist attacks in America on his watch, which he has failed miserably to prevent which absent the Flintstone level of of technological capability of our enemies would have been devastating. But he also seems to have drunk Obama's"we can make them love us" kool aid.

John Brennan, assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism, met with Lebanese leaders during a recent visit.
"Hezbollah is a very interesting organization," Brennan told a Washington conference, citing its evolution from "purely a terrorist organization" to a militia to an organization that now has members within the parliament and the cabinet.

"There is certainly the elements of Hezbollah that are truly a concern to us what they're doing. And what we need to do is to find ways to diminish their influence within the organization and to try to build up the more moderate elements," Brennan said.

He did not spell out how Washington hoped to promote "moderate elements" given that the organization is branded a "foreign terrorist organization" by the United States.

"We don't deal with them," he acknowledged.

Last month, the United States and Israel accused Syria of arming Hezbollah with increasingly powerful missiles and weapons technology. Brennan said he raised those concerns during his recent visit to the region.

Hezbollah is interesting, the Iranian proxy group is interesting? I guess we should be glad he is interested in them at all, but it would be kinda nice if it was because he was trying to shut down their terror operations or stop them from training Iraqi terrorists who have killed our troops. But no, he is busy helping them with their propaganda ops by highlighting their humanitarian and political wings. What's next a shout out to al Qaeda for running an orphanage for the children of dead suicide bombers? Clown!

John Brennan's gotta go

I am not a John Brennan fan so it takes near zero effort to get behind a call by a well-respected group of national security professionals calling for the exit of Obama's CounterTerror chief. The simple reason is that we cannot have a person in this job who is unable to even articulate the name of the enemy we fight. His latest embarrassment involved a Hamas operative who has been sported about to some of our most sensitive CT facilities as part of a Muslim Outreach program.

Soft Power foolishness

The President's principal counter-terror adviser John Brennan spoke today at CSIS and outlined the Obama administration's approach to fighting the extremists who oppose us in many countries worldwide. The one change that is both cosmetic and doctrinal is an avoidance of any war on terror and a complete avoidance of mentioning that virtually all the terrorists causing trouble are Islamist extremists who desire to impose a new Caliphate and Sharia law on the rest of us.

Kerry at State, Brennan at CIA and Hagel at Defense, wow, if that doesn't send a chill down your spine, you are not paying attention.

One thing about this administration... the incompetent and anti-American's get promotions.
