Great clip!

I've already decided I am not leaving anything to a particular liberal niece (I have no kids).  She loves things the way they are?  Let HER figure out how to support her family in California in 10-15 years.  :thud:

My mother would NOT disinherit her children, over politics.

She said here Niece... not her child.

A consideration.

I had a very good friend, also without children.  They left it all to Hillsdale College.  About a million.

Stan Marvin took me to several events there.  I sat at the head table with Reagan speech writer George Gilder.  Another time I attended a week long seminar on The Cold War.  Met and talked with M Stanton Evans about 6 hours on McCarthy and other historical matters.

Gilder wrote Wealth and Poverty.  It has been revised this year.

Evans wrote Blacklisted by History: The untold story of Senator Joe McCarthy and his fight against Americas Enemies.

Hillsdale teaches and supports conservative principles including the Constitution.  Hillsdale has an excellent Economics program.

Hillsdale publishes free, a short monthly Imprimus

I have been giving a lot of consideration to what I want done with my property proceeds when I die and it is sold... I think I will leave it to the person or persons who take in my dogs and make certain they are well-cared for until they pass on.

I probably won't have even enough left over to properly get rid of my mortal coils.

I see your point, and you are justified in your decision. If she always has it on easy street, she will always be a liberal. You might be doing her a favor. I have three boys, so don't have the issue. I love all my nieces and nephews, but have dozens of them, so it would take a large inheritance to make a dent in their lives. As far as I know, they are all conservatives. Even the few democrats in my family are opposed to Obama and find him disgusting. As long as he is president, they won't vote for any democrat.
