Mitt goes back to Ohio

Mitt Romney is adding two election day stops - in Cleveland, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, according to the AP's Kasie Hunt.

Romney was supposed to wrap his campaign tonight in New Hampshire, and the events tomorrow were added last minute.

Ohio is among the must-wins for both Romney and President Obama. Democrats have said they believe the state is in good shape for them, while Romney's campaign insists things are basically running even.

Pennsylvania is a place where Romney has attempted to make a late play, but its appearance on his schedule tomorrow is as much a function of Ohio proximity - and the fact that Pittsburgh borders on Ohio coal country - than anything else.

These two additional stops indicate that the Romney campaign feels they have a pretty decent shot in both of those states.  If they didn't, they'd spend Romney's last little bit of energy someplace else.

Interesting analysis on Fox.

Romney's appearance in Pittsburgh will reach Ohio, WVa, Va and PA coal voters.

In Cleveland's ethnic neighborhoods (Eastern European), Romney will cut into Obama's control of Cuyahoga Cty.

Both are very strategic last day rallies, and will make a big difference.
Character still matters.  It always matters.

May 3, 2016 - the day the Republican party left ME.  I am now without a Party, and quite possibly without a country.  May God have mercy!

I had no idea Cleveland has the second-highest Hungarian population outside of Budapest.  I bet they have some great food in that city.
