Michigan is very tight now
« on: October 26, 2012, 01:47:38 AM »
The latest poll I have seen, from the state of Michigan, shows a dead heat in The Wolverine State.  That is from Baydoun/Foster:  Michigan Poll: Obama and Romney in dead heat - Fox 2 News Headlines

Admittedly, the RealClearPolitics average of polls (of which, this is a part) shows a 4.0 point lead in Michigan for President Obama:  RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - Michigan: Romney vs. Obama

Still, this is the most recent of the polls taken in Michigan, displayed in the RCP average (it was conducted between 10/22 and 10/23).

Oh, and Baydoun/Foster is a Democratic polling agency...

The momentum is our friend right now all over the country.

Expect something wild and desperate from Obama in the next 11 days.  He won't go without scorched earth in his wake.

I would love to see Romney win his home state.

Let's hope he tries again with one of the attacks he's already tried - so far his attacks have been largely flops.
Yep. Even Gloria Allred couldn't save him. (teehee)

Honestly, I believe their firewall is the Senate, hence the focus so much on Akin and Mourdock. If they can prop Harry Reid and keep him in power, they can block the effects of a Romney administration.

That's why it's crucial that, if you have a Senate race in your area, you vote Republican.

Agreed.  Having a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate would be wonderful, but all that's really needed is a majority of 1.
