That's about a 1-point change, which is as likely to be noise as anything else, unless it fits into a consistent multi-poll pattern.  It's also rather disingenuous to say that it represents Obuttocks' "closing in on" Romney; it means no such thing.

Someone from Gallup said that the polling had been stable  (up and down only 1 point on any given day) but Obama had one good day which accounts for the change.  Unless the trend continues for 3+ days, it is just noise.
