Luntz on Florida
« on: October 20, 2012, 02:19:15 PM »
Frank Luntz was on FNC just a little while ago, and he offered an interesting assessment:  Florida, he asserted, should probably be taken off the list of battleground states, and placed in the Romney category.

Granted, Luntz is a Republican strategist; so he is not an entirely neutral observer.

Still, I have found his comments in the past to be quite reasonable.  And, with only 17 days left until Election Day, he will soon be proven either right or wrong.  It seems rather doubtful that he might wish to place himself in a hugely vulnerable position, so close to the election that a great many people would remember what he had said.

Moreover, the polling in Florida has been trending toward the Romney-Ryan ticket recently.

I was just waking up when he was on, but didn't he also say Romney could win the popular vote and lose the election because so far he is not winning Ohio????

Talk about riots - if it was 269/269 and the House went with Romney we can count on them.
