So long as Romney doesn't bungle the entire thing, this debate shouldn't provide much of a boost to Obama.  The first debate was the game changer; this one is likely to fit the more traditional mold of a debate that doesn't significantly change the course of the election.

Obama is not capable of stellar performances without a teleprompter and words scripted by his handlers - not in debates or anywhere else - so he will almost certainly not be able to undo the damage he did to himself in the first debate.

Candy Crowley has announced she will not follow the debate rules ... she will exercise control of questions and follow-ups.

I hope Mitt does the same.   :smokin:

"Gov. Romney, will you prove that you have paid taxes for the last 10 years?"

"Gov. Romney, have you stopped beating your wife?"

"Gov. Romney, why did Bain Capital murder a woman by causing her to get cancer?"

"President Obama, who do you think will win the NBA this year?"

Now I don't know about that...

Just got off a blog discussing the electoral map and why Texas is not colored dark red.  It's listed as "likely Romney".

Likely?  Really?

A while back, one of the maps had Texas as "leans Romney" which of course is total BS.  Obama will lose Texas by 10% or more no matter what the overall outcome is.

One of the responses:

yeah, i would imagine texas isn't 'likely' or 'leans'. more like 'carved in cold ass stone, muthaf*cka'. but that's prolly hard to fit on the map. god bless texas.

Hey guys!  I fully expect the media to proclaim Obama "The Comeback Kid" tonight.  Hopefully, the people will be able to discern the truth and to see both candidates without the filter of the media.

I've been praying all day long for Romney to do well.
