The October 3 presidential debate
« on: October 04, 2012, 01:44:13 PM »
It is usually easy enough to find a partisan, from either party, who can spin just about anything, as desired.  But no need for spin, as regarding last night's presidential debate.

From the mouth of MSNBC's Chris Matthews--who was a speechwrtier for then-President Jimmy Carter, and who has never abandoned his progressive ideology--came the following:

I don't know what [President Obama] was doing out there...I know he likes to say he doesn't watch cable television but maybe he should start. Maybe he should start. ...

Where was Obama tonight?! ...There's a hot debate going on in this country, and you know where it's being held? Here, on this network, is where we're having this debate. We have our knives out. We go after the people and the facts. What was he doing tonight? He went in disarmed!

Ah, the voice of utter frustration, from a Democrat who knows exactly who won (and who lost) last night's big debate...
