Mr. President, to quote Bob Dylan:

I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes,
And just for that one moment, I could be you.
Yes, I wish that for just one time, you could stand inside my shoes
You'd know what a drag it is to see you.

"The Tea Party has a right to feel cheated.

When does the Republican Party, put in the majority by the Tea Party, plan to honor its commitment to halt the growth of the Federal monolith and bring the budget back into balance"?

Cry me a riva. Obama probably only got to golf once a day...

That's quite a picture. Sorta like what Florence, Italy would look like... if it were run by the mob and filled with casinos, booze and hookers.

Comments like this is why he never showed for his own meetings in the senate and why he doesn't read his daily intel readings... the man is freaking lazy!  and it is why I believe he squeaked through Harvard and Columbia.

It is supposed to be Florence Italy. But right now, it doesn't look like that picture. Everything closed down over the last 3 years, the greens turned brown. The reopened one casino toward the end of last year, but many vacant home and condos. Quite a few were sold as foreclosures and short sales, so some of it is coming back. I haven't seen the golf course since last fall.  If you do a google map, it isnt that big really. The main road takes you to the marina,  2-3 hotels and the casino and there are condos above the  shops on the Ponte Vecchio which are probably still closed. The rest of the place is either gated or guard gated.

What does it mean when they said Obama's hotel has a mid east theme?

That picture is at least 5 years old.  No area of the Valley has been hit any harder by the last 4 years than Lake Las Vegas.  It is highly ironic that Obama is staying there after his comments about not going and blowing your money in Vegas.  Lake Las Vegas is almost a dead zone.
Well, George Lewis told the Englishman, the Italian and the Jew
You can't open your mind, boys, to every conceivable point of view

I remember flying into McCarran over Lake Las Vegas before the bust and it really was pretty at the time.

Post-debate, Odumbo's comment is even more telling.   ^-^
“My god! How little do my countrymen know what precious blessings they are in possession of, and which no other people on earth enjoy? I confess I had no idea of it myself.” Jefferson writing to Madison on America in 1785 while in Paris.
