They're trying to downplay expectations in the event Romney wipes the floor with Obama.

But regardless of the debate outcome, here is how the media will declare each debate.

Romney chews up Obama and spits him out.
"Romney came across as mean and insensitive, turning off independents and women.  Obama wins the debate."

Romney wins the debate, but it's not a knockout.
"Romney couldn't seal the deal with voters; most don't see a reason not to vote for Obama since he's likeable."

Tie
"Obama crushed Romney in the debate, approval rating at 90%"

Obama wins the debate
"The election is over.  Obama will be declared emperor for life tomorrow."
"...And these atomic bombs which science burst upon the world that night were strange, even to the men who used them."  H. G. Wells, The World Set Free, 1914

"The one pervading evil of democracy is the tyranny of the majority, or rather of that party, not always the majority, that succeeds, by force or fraud, in carrying elections." -Lord Acton

I am sick of the MSM made up term, DOUBLED DOWN. It is ridiculous just like they are.

The only thing Obama is doing is memorizing the answers the media gave him.

Being that the media were caught red handed on live microphone creating an ambush on Romney. I think someone (HELLO WAKE UP RNC) should call the media out and switch up the moderator at the last minute.

I wouldn't be surprised if 0bama uses a teleprompter during this debate.  :silly:

I really think he has the questions already and this three days in Vegas is to memorize the answers.

Headlines are already written, with one being:  "Romney trips out of the gate".

I'm praying those who watch these debates watch them .... and turn off all commentary.
