Keeping the troops in Afghanistan without any leadership or commitment for their support is idiotic and will cost even more US serviceman lives.  This whole business of teaching the Afghanis how to fight the Taliban by themselves is also a complete failure in every way possible, and the only decent thing to do is get our remaining troops the hell out of there.  I don't think we have sufficient forces left on the ground to fight this war any longer.  It would take massive reinforcements to accomplish anything, and the bigger problem in the region is still Pakistan.

The longer we stay the more "green on blue" they perpetuate.  Whatever the case our troops will be taking fire even on departure and we can't leave soon enough IMHO.  According to criteria I read earlier today being against this war is domestic terrorism.  Lord Have Mercy :patriot:
"Obama has made numerous attempts to quote Lincoln, SO WHY DOESN'T OBAMA USE THIS FAMOUS LINCOLN QUOTE:

"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves."
