Listen to the video again, he actually had some very strong comments interspersed with his humor... this was no senile speech.

'Eastwooding' becomes new Twitter craze

UPI

Actor Clint Eastwood motions to a chair that represents President Obama during his speech at the 2012 Republican National Convention Thursday.

Tebowing? Planking? So, so yesterday.

No, the newest Twitter craze is called "Eastwooding," named for Clint Eastwood's bizarre, unscripted conversation with an invisible President Obama - represented by a chair - at the Republican National Convention Thursday.

Following the "Dirty Harry" actor's speech, people took to Twitter to snap photos of themselves "Eastwooding," hurling their pent-up angst at empty chairs.

Some users "Eastwooded" with beach chairs. Others got angry at patio furniture and baby seats. Benches and rocking chairs were also blamed - for the economy, for everyday problems, for anything, really.

The democrats had better be real careful about mocking Eastwood and keeping the idea of Obama as an empty chair in the public's mind; that will definitely come back to bite them.

I gotta make sure I have a chair beside me at the reunion tomorrow.
For the progressive, there is very little to love about the United States. Washington, Jefferson, Madison? A bunch of rotten slaveholders, hypocrites, and cowards even when their hearts were in the right places. The Declaration of Independence? A manifesto for the propertied classes. The Constitution? An artifact of sexism and white supremacy. The sacrifices in the great wars of the 20th century? Feeding the poor and the disenfranchised into the meat-grinder of imperialism. The gifts of Carnegie, Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Morgan, Astor? Blood money from self-aggrandizing robber barons. Nat Rev
