???

Has it shifted recently?  Last map I saw (this morning) had Isaac going well south of Tampa and that they were due to get some rain, but nothing serious.

Guess I'd better check the latest.  I have family in the Clearwater area...

Geeze, and my son and family will be on their way to see Mickey Mouse, tomorrow. He didn't cancel his trip.

They're concerned about any storm surge, since Tampa floods a lot and they just had a few days of heavy rains, so the ground is already soaked.

Also, the outer bands could spawn tornadoes....so why take unnecessary risks?

Isaac is most likely to just bring rain & some wind. No big deal. I think the Dims are using the storm as an excuse to change their minds about joey's visit, and the GOP is using it to give up on Mon. events, since the networks won't be carrying those anyway.

That's not to say that Tampa and some other FL cities won't have some flooding - they do after almost every big storm.

I can't blame them. This also keeps Joe BiteMe away.
