It may have failed as a military mission, but from what I understand, it taught us a lot about the jet stream.

I'm probably one of the few people here who actually knew this story.

The real danger was if the Japanese had decided to equip these bombs with biological weapons of which they possessed and had already used in China.

Interesting, I had heard about this before. 

But then it had settled back in the dust bin of history.
