In Case You Missed It Dept.:

President Obama relayed welcome economic news from new Labor Department data on Friday. He announced the creation of one hundred and twelve thousand new jobs in America. The bad news is, they're all vacation planners and drivers for him and his family.

House Republicans voted to schedule debate on repealing the health Care reform law in Congress this week. House Democrats failed to forestall the vote. Nancy Pelosi got very angry on the House floor, even if you couldn't tell by the expression on her face.

Jeb Bush told a Republican Monday the GOP must reach out more to Hispanics. He believes that Republicans can't win without the Hispanic vote. He must have been out of the country when the Republicans picked up sixty-three House seats in November.

Dallas Ft. Worth Airport took legal action Saturday to stop a local strip club from opening down the street from the American Airlines terminal. It's strictly regulated. No one is allowed to touch the dancers except the TSA agents who are on their break.

Rush Limbaugh tried to improve his golf swing in the Hank Haney Project on the Golf Channel beginning Tuesday. It's already gotten ugly. Halfway through the first round, the sheriff of Tucson blamed Rush Limbaugh for the violence in Tiger Woods' driveway.

John Boehner was calm in managing the Tucson shooting reaction on Capitol Hill Monday. He refused to play the Washington game of using a tragedy to score cheap political points. It could land him in front of the House Ethics Committee for ruining the curve.

Democratic House leader Jim Clyburn blamed the Tucson shootings Tuesday on the reading of the U.S. Constitution on the floor of Congress last week. He said reading the U.S. Constitution out loud was an attempt to de-legitimize the president. So he listened to it.

Secretary of Defense Robert Gates visited China Tuesday, where he predicted that North Korea will have missiles that can reach Southern California in five years. People in Los Angeles are buzzing about it. At last an Asian restaurant that delivers.

President Obama was surprised by the cheers from Arizona college students when he entered the arena for Wednesday's memorial. They went wild when he walked onstage. They either thought he was going to give away a car or they thought he was hiring.

Sarah Palin fired back at Democrats in the media Wednesday who said the Tucson shootings were her fault. They also said the shootings were Rush Limbaugh's fault. George W. Bush is sitting around the house in Dallas wondering if he's lost his fastball or something.

Barack Obama angered people in both Britain and the U.S. Wednesday when he told Nicolas Sarkozy that the U.S. has no better friend than France. Britain fights with us in Afghanistan but France needs our help with their food prices. The reason Obama's a Democrat is because he only likes people who need, not people who fight.

China's President Hu Jintao will come to the White House and meet with President Obama this week. Our president is very anxious to talk with the Chinese. We're a month late on the rent and he wants to explain that it's the fault of Sarah Palin and talk radio.

President Obama wore a U.S. flag pin on his lapel Wednesday during his speech in Tucson. He wasn't making a political point. Arizona issues an American flag lapel pin to anybody who can't prove their citizenship to identify them as one-day visitors.

Barack Obama told the crowd Wednesday after he visited Gabrielle Giffords' hospital room she opened her eyes for the first time. All in a day's work. A really good politician will heal the lame and then write them a five hundred dollar ticket for parking in a handicapped zone.

Minnesota wrestling coach Jacob Volkmann was suspended by his school after he won a UFC match and challenged President Obama to a fight. He thinks Obama is a socialist. The coach was put on salaried leave, so in Obama's honor he will be paid for doing nothing.

Chinese President Hu Jintao will be at the White House next week. The good news is, he has no plans to foreclose. We can stay another month.

After surprise visits to Afghanistan and Pakistan, Vice President Joe Biden made his third surprise visit of the week to Iraq. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like he's just lost in that area?

I met a fairy today who said she would grant me one wish.

"I want to live forever," I said.

"Sorry" said the fairy, "I'm not allowed to grant wishes like that!"

"Fine," I said, "I want to die after the Democrats get their heads out of their asses!"

"You crafty bastard," said the fairy.
