Welcome to the military. Two hugely mismatched songs that pretty much sums it up.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

The Guess Who - American Woman - 1970

I think Burton Cummings is greatly under-appreciated as the great singer he is.  1970!

Are you aware of the reason behind the song?  I like Burton too and I thought the movie he made was decent .

Thanks for the link Wayne.  One of my favorite songs, the meaning can be interpreted different ways - I always took it as a put-down on America - our military might and our popular culture - American women too.  I didn't know Burton Cummings was in a movie, I'll have to look that up.  I think he has an awesome voice.  The Guess Who had some great hits!

They were from Canada and while touring the US our govt wanted them to pay taxes here and sign up for the draft because they had permanent residence  here. ( the last part may not be true) The American woman was the statute of Liberty and her wars and taxation etc.
