Good. Join the fun. Might be enough where none get more than 2% in the polls. Plus they’ll air out all the dirty laundry.

At this point if she can manage to convince enough voters she's not an unprincipled nasty a-hole then she will deserve to win.

If she does, I wonder if that will make Willie Brown the First co-Husband.

With this many candidates (what is she, the fifth woman so far?),  the stars are aligning for a plurality candidate to emerge.   That is, one who will appeal to the rabid base.

What this does is raise the stakes for the Republicans.   We cannot afford to nominate a loser.    Will Trump usher in the worst of identity politics and socialism?

Trump has his issues, but I don't think we can necessarily lay the identity politics stain at his feet.  I'd give Obama a great deal more credit for that.

History has shown, at least on the Republican side, that in huge fields, the most hated candidate usually wins because they hog all the attention and no one can gain traction against them.

McCain, Romney, Trump.

The Democrats have always had a tighter grip on their party and run it more like a machine, but with no clear favorite, and Hillary all but out of the picture, that might not be true this time around.

Apparently she “believes women” and not just pathological nut-job Swetnick:

Worst of all, though, is Ms. Harris’s record in wrongful conviction cases. Consider George Gage, an electrician with no criminal record who was charged in 1999 with sexually abusing his stepdaughter, who reported the allegations years later. The case largely hinged on the stepdaughter’s testimony and Mr. Gage was convicted.

Afterward, the judge discovered that the prosecutor had unlawfully held back potentially exculpatory evidence, including medical reports indicating that the stepdaughter had been repeatedly untruthful with law enforcement. Her mother even described her as “a pathological liar” who “lives her lies.”

In 2015, when the case reached the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco, Ms. Harris’s prosecutors defended the conviction. They pointed out that Mr. Gage, while forced to act as his own lawyer, had not properly raised the legal issue in the lower court, as the law required.

The appellate judges acknowledged this impediment and sent the case to mediation, a clear signal for Ms. Harris to dismiss the case. When she refused to budge, the court upheld the conviction on that technicality. Mr. Gage is still in prison serving a 70-year sentence.

With Willie, she learned at the foot, of one of the slickest of the slick (politicians)

However in my opinion, her demeanor in committee hearings has been offputting, to say the least. Badgering, too damn stern, etc.

That's just unfair to Clowns, they are a generally likable group and not hateful. They are even more attractive than the democrat field.

I don't think you can fairly say that because I care quite a bit!

If they can't shut down voter fraud and ballot harvesting it isn't going to matter who the next Dem candidate is.

I just hope Trump doesn't wait till September 2019 to try and expand his base.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

I keep imagining Hillary pacing the floors knowing that other women are running; Warren, Harris, Gabbard, and Gillibrand.  This has got to be like a knife in her chest.  She wanted the presidency so badly and now there's no way she can jump into the arena and expect a snowball's chance.  I wonder who she'll support??   :rolling:

It's expanding greatly every hour of every day @corbe.  The more intransigent the democrats become the faster it expands! #walkaway
